Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information FailWord processes to create accounts, assign videos, verify rewarded viewing, secure the platform, provide support, and maintain required records.
1. Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address, password hash, account status, age-confirmation status, content preferences, policy acceptance timestamps, and administrator status where applicable.
Payment information: PayPal payout email, requested amount, request status, PayPal batch, item and transaction identifiers, administrative notes, and processing errors. FailWord does not collect a PayPal password or bank-card credentials.
Platform activity: assigned video identifiers, watch-session tokens, active viewing time, progress events, completion records, reward amounts, completion dates, daily usage, balance changes, and campaign distribution changes.
Technical and security information: session cookies and information normally sent by your browser or server connection, which may include IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security logs.
Support communications: information you send to support@failword.com, including account details and any attachments or explanations you choose to provide.
2. How we use information
- Create, authenticate, and maintain your FailWord account.
- Confirm adult eligibility and remember whether mature content is enabled.
- Build an eligible automatic queue and prevent the same campaign from being rewarded more than once per user per day.
- Measure active watch time, verify completion, calculate rewards, update balances, and reduce campaign inventory.
- Enforce daily limits, platform policies, fraud controls, security protections, and legal obligations.
- Investigate errors, respond to support requests, improve reliability, and protect users and campaign owners.
- Send essential account messages such as password-reset emails and service notices.
3. Cookies and sessions
FailWord uses essential session cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, and associate verified actions with your account. These cookies are required for core platform operation. The application does not require advertising cookies to perform the account and reward functions described in this policy.
4. Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by hosting, database, email-delivery, security, analytics, payment, or professional service providers used to operate FailWord. These providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services. Embedded video providers may receive technical information directly from your browser when their player loads, subject to their own privacy terms.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, protect rights and safety, or support a business reorganization. FailWord does not sell account information to third-party advertisers.
5. Retention and security
Account and viewing records are retained for as long as reasonably needed to operate the platform, maintain reward and campaign records, resolve disputes, detect abuse, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by record type and jurisdiction.
Passwords are stored using one-way password hashing rather than plain text. FailWord also uses authenticated sessions, CSRF protection, prepared database queries, server-side reward checks, and transaction controls. No system is completely secure, so users should choose a unique password and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
6. Your choices and requests
You can update your display name and password from your Profile page and turn mature content off from the Watch page. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about the processing of your personal information.
Send privacy requests to support@failword.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some records may need to be retained for security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal reasons.
7. Adult-only platform and policy changes
FailWord accounts are intended only for people age 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts. If you believe a minor has provided information to FailWord, contact support so the matter can be reviewed.
This policy may be updated as the platform, service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the platform or by email where appropriate.
